My responsibilities were, transportation of patients to doctors appointment, bathing and dressing them up, companionship, making beds, doing laundry remind or give medicine to patients, check vital signs or apply lotion to dry skin areas, change bandage, light house cleaning, am able to lift my clients, transfer them in and out of wheelchair to their beds. I can also manage using a Hoyer lift. I treat my clients as though they are my family. I always put my self in their shoes. The pain they go through everyday, the frustration of they can't get what they want or understand certain things like they used to. I am always on time. I am a team player, flexible,trustworthy, compassionate,hardworking and honest. But all in all I am always available for my clients. I became a caregiver when I took care of my 80 year old grandmother 10 years ago. She couldn't help her self in every aspect of life, this was so frustrating for her. When I gave a helping hand she was so happy that it rejuvenated her. It was a good feeling to see her smile again.
