I became a caregiver because of my mother, At the age of 10 my mother died and I couldn't do nothing to help her. So I decided to get in the medical field for that reason. I love being a caregiver because it is a passion of mine to see people smile, and live there life to the fullest. Some of my achievements are attending school for certification, and also I am now enrolled in school for Health Information Systems and Business Administration. I chose this field because I want to make sure the patients get the treatment, respect, and etc they deserve. I love helping people, I understand how difficult it is to ask for help so being able to show someone it's ok to need help is something I pride myself in doing. I helped my great grandmother for 2 years as a caregiver and I'm proud to say I made a difference in her life and the quality of our family life.

Caregiving is in my heart, I have been taking care of people for over 27 years and I love it. I have a heart for people. My greatest achivement professionally is the ability to understand people and to help people in need, to understand words that aren't spoken, I currently work for a Hospice company for the last 6 years being a CNA is one of my greatest gifts. Why I became a caregiver my best friend passed away from HIV and I wanted to take care of people like they took care of her. I'm also a CHPNA Certified Hospice Palliative Care Nursing Assistant 2018

Im 35 years, I enjoy taking care of others as if they were my own family. Im dependable, dedicated, outgoing, love getting to know others, have a lot of patience. I am a nurturing and compassionate and truly enjoy taking care of others.

I graduated in 1997 and became an RN. I've been working as a critical care nurse ever since. Recently, I've had to change my focus due to medical reasons but I still LOVE taking care of others. I hope I'm given the chance to get back to work in a field I love.
