My name is Takeshia Hodge and I am 27 years old I'm currently a certified medication aide as well as a community supervisor. I am currently in the process of going back to college to be a RN. My passion is to help others that aren't able to help themselves. My passion is pleasing people!

I LOVE WORKING AS A CAREGIVER I LOVE THE INDIVIDUALS I SERVE. I DO THE BEST POSSIBLE TO HELP THE INDIVIDUALS GET BETTER ON WHAT GOING ON. I LOOK FOR PROGRESS IN ALL MY INDIVIDUALS THAT I WORK WITH . SO WHAT EVER NEED THE INDIVIDUALS NEED IM HERE TO PUSH FARTHER TO MAKING IT HAPPEN. WITH NO PROBLEM. I ENJOY THE MOST OF ABLE TO WORK AND GET THE JOB DONE NOTHING ATTRACTED ME WHEN IM AT WORK.

Since 1990, I have very much enjoyed my work as a CNA ( certificate Nursing Assistant.) I also have a CPR License. In private homes and residential facilities, And hospitals. Serving others with compassionate nursing/ support/thoughtfulness has filled my life with a purpose, which is why I have Dedicated my life caring for others. Highly motivated self-starter, I quickly learned what needs to be done and generously give the exceptional care my clients deserve.

I am an upbeat and positive individual who believes that each day is the best day ever! I became a caregiver when my husband, mother and father all became ill and needed care. Their care ranged from physical needs, to needs due to dementia. I wanted to be the one there with them to care for them. However, when I couldn't be there with them full time, as I needed to work, I was blessed to have found the most wonderful caregiver in the world to care for them. She treated my loved ones as family, and cared for them with love, compassion and dignity. It is now my privilege to be able to share that gift with other families that I care for. I enjoy the companionship and helping those who are in their most vulnerable state., and caring for them with dignity and compassion. A personal achievement that I am proud of is graduating from college with a degree in Psychology at the age of 47!

I became a caregiver after my mother became terminally ill we didn't have the best care and it made me decide to go into it I always treat my client as if they were my own family I always say to myself If This Were My loved one what would I want how would I want them to be cared for and that is the type of care I provide safe fun-loving care.

I started being a caregiver 25 years ago, when i took care of my grandmother, who had dementia, until she passed away. Ive going on 24 years of marriage, i have 3 children and 1 granddaughter, who i am raising. I love working for the elderly, they give me great pleasure while with, that majes me come back to continue working with them.
