I love being surrounded by older people, they are so full of wisdom and history. That is what drew me to being a care giver. I love helping them and being able to help and care for them as they once cared for me when I was younger. They deserve the best care and that is one thing I am proud of, giving them the best of me. I became a CNA because back in High School I went to various nursing homes and hospitals to volunteer to help the elderly and I enjoyed it. I became a caregiver because it was something I was always interested in and also when my sister got diagnosed with Lupus I saw how much helped she needed and I knew this was what I was supposed to do.
