I've been a registered nurse for over thirty years with a wide variety of experiences in hospital orthopedics, home health (including hospice), geriatric care in rehab facilities and private duty peds and young adults.

I am a very caring and outgoing young lady. I just finished my certification as a CNA, and am moving on to get my license as a registered nurse. I have a passion for helping people and caring for people, including my father who is fully disabled with a broken back, along with my two beautiful children. I also have experience in handling my cousin that is autistic.

Hello my name is Ashley. I have lived out in the country my whole life. I grew up helping my parents at Comitis Crisis Center. I have always been heavily involved in helping the less fortunate in the community. When I grew up I knew I wanted to continue helping people through healthcare. I am patient, caring and compassionate. I have always enjoyed my rotations in nursing homes and rehab facilities. I enjoy helping my patients thrive in their environment. My goal is to help keep my patients as independent as possible. I have helped a variety of patients ranging from disabled patients, cancer patients, rehab patients, and end of life care. My personal achievement I am proud of is completing my Practical Nursing Degree. I am continuing my education to become a Registered Nurse.

I'm a caregiver and healer by nature! I love to bake, read, take walks/hike, and play games. I'm a habitual student--I love to learn! My medical background gives me an excellent knowledge base (medical assistant & occupational therapy assistant), but my experience and genuine compassion are my biggest assets. I have worked with a wide variety of ages with an equally wide variety of physical/social/mental health needs, including special needs children as a school health aid, OTA at a skilled nursing/long term acute care hospital, medical assistant, co-led a divorce care group at my church, internship at Arapaho Co. Mental Health, and provided my grandmother (advanced Alzheimer's Disease & stroke) with a loving and caring home for 5 years. I have also been by my mom's side during her breast cancer treatment (never missed a chemo!). Please note that my services do not include occupational therapy treatment/services, but having this education and experience is immensely helpful in helping your loved one stay safe while in my care. I understand how difficult finding a reliable, competent, and compassionate caregiver can be, and I know the struggles and stresses of caring for a family member! But the reward of knowing that I made an impact in someone's life is my greatest reward. Im very outgoing, friendly, detail oriented, and caring. I don't have a degree but my studies in psychology have helped me operate in a perspective of deep understanding. I have grandparents who are suffering through dementia, and family members who needed open wound care. I've volunteered for holiday events at senior communities and I also have experience in first aid, disaster training, wound care/preventative treatment. It was tough seeing my mother in need of an attentive caregiver who really understood her needs and wants so I take work with my clients personally, no one should worry if their caregiver is caring enough.
