I am a Navy Veteran. I received the Purple Heart for my efforts in Afghanistan. I've also received multiple Navy medals and achievements while serving in Iraq, Kuwait and here in the states. I have learned to be patient, compassionate, thorough, very dependable, trustworthy, honest and attentive. I am a wife and a mother of two beautiful daughters. Zoey is twelve and Makenna is ten. My husband is still in the Navy. He is a Submarine IDC (Independent Duty Corpsman) and he makes me proud everyday. Personally i have empathy and compassion to people with various condition like,pple with disability due to impairement,sickly pple who need my assistance. What i enjoy most,is when i give care to the client and help them gain their self confidence and treat them equally and with respect and by the end of the day is rewarding to see that person happy and fulfilled.

I started caregiving by taking care of my own mother, when I saw how happy she feels by having me around, I felt blessed doing it and when she passed, I extended the same compassion to others. I really enjoy it when I notice that I have made a positive impact on the life of my client; I can remember being called God sent by the wife of one of my clients; the gentleman returned home after spending months at the hospital and rehab, he lost his ability to walk and speak. after I was called in as a caregiver, he regained his mobility and speech because we had to engage with him not just as a client but as a loved one...

I love to take care people specially with older adults. I worked as a CNA at Providence Mount Saint Vincent for four years with no complaints but recognition for being a good caregiver. In addition, I am US Army Reserve since in 2008 as Patient Admin Specialist; As a drilling member, one of my duty is to attend my drill weekend every month and do the right thing wherever I go and whatever I do. Later, I transferred to Individual Ready Reserve in April 2015 to focus on my nursing school. My dream becoming a registered nurse (RN) was full filled in March 2016.
