The love, the patience and privacy she always showed her mom was priceless! She made my grandmother smile every day! Later, in life when I was a teenager, I had to step up and help my mom due to surgery. I took so much pride In taking care of my mom. I can go on and on about being a caregiver! I am always on my feet, I'm walkways wanting to help others and understand others just as much as I want others to do the same for me. I'm very open, I'm dedicated. Wanting to be a caregiver was unexpected for me, it was something that I felt like I could learn from until I wanted to be a CNA. The main thing I enjoy about caregiving is the ability to be present and being able to see and hear a store from a resident or someone who is bed bound, they tend to always have a story.
