My name is Charlotte Findley I'm 55 yrs old. I worked many years in health care. My aunt, who was Director of Nursing at a Care Center took me to work with her when I was 12 yrs old. I fell in love with the company of older people. The stories and wisdom I would crave from then on. I started volunteering at the center. My aunt said that I added love and happiness when I visited but really I who recieved an abundance of love and happiness from being with the residence. Those are days I am forever greatful for. I found my calling , Caregiving!!! I had a small in home daycare in my early 20s. (back when i could keep up with several whipper snappers -those were the days lol) I have worked as a CNA in Care Centers. I also worked as a Home Health Aide (HHA) and as a Companion/Homemaker for folks in their homes. I worked as a Residential Assistance Tech (RAT) in group home settings, assisting those with intellectual different-abilities live as independently as possible. Though I didn't make a fortune monaterly I certainly feel very rich with many wonderful memories and friendships Ive gained along the way. I haven't worked for quite sometime . I helped cared for both my grandfather's who had Alzheimer's . I cared for my little sister (23 yrs younger then I ) who was born with special needs and required total care. She was called home March 2014. I cared for my dad who had esophalgial & brain cancer. He peacefully transitioned, as he refered to it, at my home in Feb 2015. I help my mom care for my 2nd dad (step dad) who had heart problems until he too was called home Jan 2018. Since then I've been caring for myself and my home. May of 2021 my grandson Oliver Thomas was born. What a joy grandparenthood is!! I am ready to get back to working outside the home again and am looking forward to meeting new people, learning new things, hearing new stories /personal histories and helping folks stay safely in their homes and as independant as possible.

I have a passion for caring and helping others out. I enjoy caring for others that once cared for us. I love hearing their stories, getting to know them, and meeting their families. To see a smile on your loved one's face, is how I know they are having a great quality of life. That is what I love doing with being a caregiver. Their happiness, is my happiness. I love what I do. I also have my adult/child abuse certificate, and am CPR certified.

My Career experience has been focused on helping people in both work and life, thus I have great compassion for those seeking not only to heal, but also to live. My name is Sara and I've been a Certified Nurses Assistant for a little over three years. I have worked in assisted livings and I am currently employed at a hospice house. I first became interested in being a caregiver when I was a kid. My grandmother was diagnosed with Alzheimer's four or five years ago and I was involved in taking care of her and took care of her at the hospice house. I am currently looking for jobs so that I have something lined up. I am currently very flexible and will consider all shifts expect for some weekends as I still have my other job. I love being a CNA and taking care of people!

I am a nurturer by nature.. I enjoy helping people Getting my LPN license being a single parent I enjoy helping others feel good physically and emotionally. I have been in the nursing field since age 14, and have enjoyed every aspect of it. I've worked in several health fields from nursing homes to a critical access hospital to hospice care.

I became a caregiver because I l like nothing more than to help anyone and everyone out in anyway, shape, or form. To make a person smile and be happy is the greatest feeling to me, knowing that I made someones day/night helps me to sleep good with a smile on my face as well. I use to be so scared to even step one into a nursing home that was up until I got my first job at 17 being a dietary aid in the kitchen at a nursing home, and now I wouldn't change my career for anything. I can actually say that I am really good with families and getting along with anyone and everyone. The families that are involved in their loved ones life is also a big part of this type of career so making the family happy as well is very important to me. I have been in the healthcare field of work the 8 years I have worked and mainly just worked in the nursing home environment but I have also worked as a Direct Support Professional for an in home care facility. I would not go back and change my job and or wouldn't change the type of work I do for anything. Happiness is home made and care comes from the heart.

the reason i became a care giver is because i have a strong passion for people and love helping when i can.i love the fact that i can help someone and make there day and just the thought of helping them.The achievement that im proud of is that in 2014 i was named best employee of the year and have always been requested by many clients that i have worked for including going to live in florida with one of my clients. Something about myself is that im a hard worker always able to call on me at any time day or night use to work 90 hour work weeks dedicated to my job on or off duty. easy to get along with,very trustworthy, great leadership and great people skills.
