The aging eye does not see as well at night as it used to. Turning on overhead lights or lamps may be too bright, and they can make it harder for you to go back to sleep. To avoid tripping, use soft night lights to light the path to the bathroom. In the bathroom, install a night light to be able to easily see the toilet, grab bar, and any rugs or other objects that you might trip over. Check that the night lights you choose have enough light to prevent falls.
We have high-quality, affordable caregivers you can count on at CareLinx.
