Throughout life I have been tested through trials and tribulations that would've and should've tested my endurance, however, I prevailed and was able to overcome. Growing up I was raised by my nurturing grandmother, due to my mother being incarcerated, and my father was not being a prime factor in my direct upbringing. I was taught at an early age play the hand that you were dealt, and to always keep an open mind, be respectful, never make hasty decisions, and think things through to get a better result. As mother I am instilling the same qualities into my children. As a wife I carry myself with dignity, I am loyal, supportive and a team player to ensure a happy home. I decided to pursue a career as a of PCA, as a way of giving back, my grandmother took care of me growing up and when she became ill, I was the main entity that stepped in to care for her well-being. I ensured that she made it to all her appointments, was feed on a daily basis, and bathed correctly. I spent countless days and hours to make sure she was comfortable within her home and it was a clean and tidy at all times. I was raised to care for others, it's a passion of mine to help other build self-esteem, encourage, and get the help they need to feel like themselves and respected. As a PCA it's about quality of life and helping to help other maintain a balanced life.

I'm a young, dedicated lady. I lost my dad and my pawpaw and cared for them for their end of life, that drives me to do my very best within my work. I care for clients and if they were my own family.

I became interested in being a caregiver when I was a child and my grandmother used to take me to work with her at a nursing home. I was the primary caregiver for one of my many patients for 11 years and he was a quadriplegic. I did hospice care with my grandmother for 3 months. Also, my 15 year old was diagnosed with diabetes in June 2022 and I've been his primary caregiver since then and have controlled it to the point where we have had no visits to the hospital at all. I am very passionate about helping others and truly believe that is my purpose in life.

I have been in cargiving for over 15 years I have work in assisting living facility with memory care unit. I have also work one on one in home with patients. Healthcare is a family trait it started with my grandmother and she pass it down to her kids and grandkids. My name is Kim Boucher. I have a special needs son that is 34 years old. He has epilepsy, cerebral palsy and is developmentally delayed. I have also been a caregiver to my mother in law, who had kidney failure and had to be on dialysis 3 times a week and has passed away 10 years ago. At the present time I have been helping take care of my 88 year father in law, that has dementia and other under line problems. I have been gave a gift and skills to take care of all kinds of special needs people and want to. My skills include anything to help keep people as independent as they can be. My mom was paralyzed when I was 12. Giving me the opportunity to be surrounded by caregivers growing up.
