I decided to become a caregiver at an early age because i helped my neighbor that was ill and i was around her all my childhood . plus i enjoy giving back happiness to elderly clients who need a kind smile and some who will take the time to listen to their needs and laugh at there old stories and make sure quality care is given.

Hello, I've been a Caregiver since 2001. I am CPR certified and First Aid, I also have light Volunteer EMS training. I have a passion and care to help others! I feel that I am a great caregiver because unfortunately I am unable to have children so my maternal instincts carry over to the person I am caring for. I love helping people and being able to help someone stay home for as long as possible is very important.

Hello! My name is Jennifer and I enjoy bringing a big smile into your life. I started caregiving when my 94 year old grandmother moved into my house and I am so lucky to be able to enjoy her. Since i have been looking after her, I have been trained by her nurses and occupational advisors on how to assist. My biggest accomplishment was that I was able to get grandma hearing aids for the first time in her life and being able to see the enjoyment she receives from them. What's makes a great Caregiver is someone that is compassionate, kind and loving and I am proud to say I carry those great qualities and more. I became a Caregiver in senior year of High School and from then on I fell in love with with. I found joy in helping people lives better and assisting them with everyday living activities. A personal achievement that I am proud of in my Caregiver moments has to be when I was working with a client of mines that was mute and had other physical and mental complications. He was not able to communicate and I came up with methods to get him to communicate with people.

I have over 7 years of experience in at-home elder care, and I am passionate about the human right to access high quality care in our homes. I have provided care for elderly clients with extreme mobility challenges, and assisted them with daily occupational and physical therapy, in addition to bathing, dressing, meal preparation, and housework. I consistently received very positive feedback from both clients and their families, because of the undeniable improvement in their quality of life. When I first started working with a bedbound client, she had many bed sores, she experienced depression, and she was on track to enter hospice. After 3 months of working together on daily occupational therapy exercises, treating her bed sores rigorously, adapting new recipies to intrigue her appetite, and having daily fun together, she was transformed and no longer needed to enter hospice. It's not because of extreme mobility issues that people can't have comfortable, fulfilling lives where as much of their personal autonomy as possible is achieved with the support of quality caregivers. I bring empathy and compassion, effective communication, observational skills, problem-solving, attention to detail, and humor!

I'm a 35 years old mother of two adorable little girls. 8 and 5 years old. I became a caregiver because its my calling. I have been in the caregiver field for 8 years now.I love being able to help people and be there for them in there time of need. I started out helping a friend of the family when I was 14 years old. And since then been helping people with the daily activatives that they can no longer do on there own.
