I became a caregiver because i love to work with people. My favorite thing about being a caregiver is the stores they tell and just getting to know them and there life. I am a mom of 4 children. i am working as a caregiver right now on tues and thurs from 9-2 and i love my job.

A became an LPN in 1983 when i found that i got a very rewarding feeling from being a nurses aide. I became a nurse to help and comfort those in need of a compassionate person in their recovery from any specific illness. So my heart drew me to the field of healthcare.In LPN training I finally found my niche. I graduated in the top third of my class and am really proud that I accomplished this. I worked as aN LPN in many settings over the next 20+ years until i committed a crime of theft by deception and lost my LPN license. It has been 7 years and I have paid my debt to society and now carry 4 counts of a misdemeanor theft by deception. so what a price to pay. I have been working as a self employed home care giver and have done fairly well over the past two years. I am looking for a company that will allow me to use my training and passion for nursing to benefit others. Please take a chance and grant me an interview. I have never been, but I think I would love being a caregiver, so I'm willing to do anything to learn everything about the job. I'm a hard hard worker, and a lover of all people. I can be anywhere at anytime for as long as I'm needed.

the reason why I became a caregiver is because I love helping people and I like working with clients . the thing I like the most about being a caregiver is being there for my clients went they need me the most I like to make them happy went there having a bad day . I will always give my all to show them I am a hard worker and team worker , I cant see myself doing anything else I love my job. The thing I am the most proud of is I am good at my job . I became a caregiver was I was 19yrs old. I want to help people, my grandpa was sick with cancer. I seen all the care that he got from caregivers that came in to help him and I wanted to do that. The most I like about being a caregiver is the faces on people that I help. The little things, the touch to let someone know that you are there, fixing of the pillow so it is tuck under the head, eye contact to let them know you are listening, hold the hand when someone is having a bad day, sit by the bedside until they fall asleep,the interaction that I get from someone, the smile on someone's face. I'm 39yrs old married for 5yrs have two girls and one step-daughter. Grew up in San Diego Ca. moved up here when I was in high school, been here ever since. My father was in the navy station in the Philippines when me met my mother. Moved back to the states when I was two, moved around from difference bases. At the age of five he got station in San Diego where I lived until I moved up here. This is where my dad's side of the family is from.

THE REASON I BECAME A CAREGIVER AS A LITTLE GURL I ALWAYS HELPED ALL THE OLDER PEOPLE WHERE I LIVED FOR MANY YEARS AND THERE WAS ONE LADY THAT I HELPED UNTIL SHE PASSED ON I WAS ONLY TEN YEARS OLD..SO FROM THAT TIME I ALWAYS WANTED TO.WHAT I LIKE AND ENJOY ABOUT HELPING PEOPLE BECAUSE I HV GRAND PARENTS AND A MOM WHO WAS SICK..SO ITS A NATURAL THING WITH MY SELF PLUS I HAVE FIVE KIDS WHO I CARE FOR ON A DAILY BASIS.MY PERSONAL ACHIEVEMENT IS THAT IM ABLE TO HELP OTHERS AND WONT HARM NO ONE.I AM LOVING CARING PERSON IF U MEET ME OR TALK TO ANY ONE WHO KNOWS ME WILL HAVE LOVING THINGS TO SAY ABOUT ME..IM FUN FUNNY AND A GOOD LISTENER,,,,,

I am a certified medical assistant. I have worked in the medical office setting dealing directly with the Physician and patients, but quickly realized that type of career was not for me. I felt like I was working on a cattle ranch were the patients were herded in and out as fast as possible. I prefer one on one contact. This allows more time to get to know each other and discuss any problems or just to talk about anything. I have experience with Alzheimer's and Dementia plus Neurological disorders such as severe brain injuries and stokes victims. I do diabetic monitoring and medication, plus neuropathy knowledge, and formal training in transfer techniques.I am CPR certified. My patient, caring and calm personality allows me to handle certain situations in an efficient and professional manner. With all that being said, my most valuable qualification is my passion to help others. I love my profession and I am very good at it

I believe I am one of the best caregivers because I have empathy and compassion. I became a caregiver after my dad was in a mva and suffered brain damage. The people who came to look after him had no patience or compassion. I took it upon myself to care for him so I know he was treated with respect and love. I care about people and want to try and help them to have the best quality of life as possible.

I have been a caregiver for five years. Assisting with daily activities and household tasks my friend suggested to help out an elderly woman because she was living alone and needed help. So I decide to reach out and take care of her. My daily chores are preparing meal,cleaning up the place and making sure the right amount of medication was given.

I became a CNA because I enjoy helping people. I spent most of my life caring for disabled children and the last ten years caring for Alzheimer's patients. I like being there companion and getting to know them. I love hearing there stories about there past. It's like getting an incredible history lesson. I became a caregiver because I like helping people. My mom needed help walking some or going to grocery store helping seeing some things when her eye sight got worse, she also needed assistance with going to Dr appt. And more and I assisted her with all. I like ti give back knowing i will be in tgat posution years from now or because i would want someone like me caring for my family. My 2 children are my pride n joy and being a caregiver gives me time ti be home with them.

Over 18 years experience as a massage therapist, specializing in pain relief and accidents, injuries, sports massage, geraitric massage, pre and post surgical massage for reconstuction and m/or augmentation, liposuction and tummy tucks. Spent the last 5 years taking care of my dad who was a stroke survivor with aphasia, and was hemiplegic. Massaged him often to ease nerve pain and very painful contractions from the spastic muscles in his arm and leg. He has both spastic and flaccid paralysis. Massage can be so beneficial to our loved ones in their final days. My rates listed are for massage, however, I can do caretaking as listed and it would be a different rate. As a masage therapist, I habe been regular fingerprinted and had a thorough police department background check.
