I became a caregiver to my father as he goes in and out of depression. I left corporate work in healthcare consulting and went back to school to be a certified health coach. Now i work privately with clients on habit change and take care of my father along the way. I am compassionate, hard worker, patient, and empathetic and have a positive mindset.

I am a caring person, and I have been visiting a elderly woman that is 86 next door, and she tells me all the time how living alone is no fun, and she enjoys our time together. I thought the other day, why can't I make some else's day better by doing the same thing for them. Transportation is not a problem I have a SUV, and it's great for wheelchairs and walkers, and bathing and dressing doesn't bother me either, once you have been deployed everything else is easy. Iam married and have 3 kids of my own. I'm patient, reliable, trustworthy and compassionate . Care-giving is not for everyone. Being responsible for the patient needs is one of my trait. My care typically involves meal preparation, bathing, dressing, feeding administering medication light housekeeping, grocery shopping dr appointments and overseeing the safety and emotional needs of my patient. I understand that they may feel vulnerable, scared, confused and uncomfortable, I am able to identify and ease fears can create a sense of calm and trust for those being cared for. I'm patient because receiving care typically lack the ability to be fully independent and who feels trapped and out-of-control. I became a caregiver for my grandfather at the age of 11 til I was 17. Caring for a person is the best feeling in the world. I would administer his insulin daily, bathe him, cook, cleanse and change his wound bandages for his toes that were amputated do to diabetes. In 1999 my father in law had a stroke and it just got worse . I promised him I wouldn't let him go in a nursing home that I would take care of him . so from 1999-2017 I took care of him till he passed. I done everything for him at the end I had to change his dipiers and had to get him through a feeding tube in his stomach. I was with him 24 I lived with him . after he passed a few other people came to me and asked me to care for their loved ones it got around how good I was with my father in law. I took care a lady who had a few heart attacks and couldn't get around good . I cleaned for her made sure she took her medicine daily and checked her good sugar daily. I took her grocery shopping and what ever she needed. I privite sat with all my paients I've never been to school for any of my work .but I love my work I love all my patients they come first no matter what and I promise if you hire me to take care of your loved one you will not be disappointed

I have an amazing uplifting personality as soon as I meet someone they can always tell I want to dedicate my time into doing more. About 3 years ago a client was I need of a caregiver that was left the hospital where my mom is a doctor for in home treatment due to hospice. My mom informed me about the client that needed care that his family wasn't able or didn't have the time to due with the client. I soon as I met this client I knew this is what I wanted to do for long term. I was a private caregiver to 7 patients. I absolutely loved being able to care for those that actually needed the help. I dedicated my time to get to know all of my clients. I loved the fact I was able to make them feel comfortable with me and the way they lit up every time I came into their home.
