I have cared for two senior mentally impaired family members for 10 years, as well as my late husband whom was diagnosed with cancer for a year a half, providing me with 10+ years of experience overall.

Hi, I am a LPN of 30 plus years of many different experiences. I love home care environment for working. I am a mom and very experienced in Special needs experience for my second child has CP and ADHD. He is a thriving young man and very productive young man in his community! Besides the last 5 years I have been working with individuals with special needs in their homes. I am current in my CPR training and am a nonsmoker and usually have no problem with pets currently. I would prefer to work the day or evening shift and am looking to work approximately 36 hours a week. I would right now not want to work weekends but can discuss further. Hi my name is Deborah. I became a caregiver in April 2020 after I decided to quit the Insurance Business as a licensed agent after 20 years. I have always enjoyed the elderly and use to go visit people at the nursing homes just to visit with them. My friend asked me about becoming a caregiver to a lady she knew that was in need of someone to help her during Covid. I fell in love with lady and was with her till her dying day. I still have her best friend and a couple of others I still work with now and then but not on a regular basis. I enjoy spending time with the elderly, they are so knowledgeable and wise! Most of the elderly I work with have no family here, so I enjoy being a little part of family for them.

The only caregiving I've ever provided care for were family members including my father, and 2 sisters and my niece who all were diagnosed with terminal cancer and I assisted along with other family members caring for them after their cancer surgeries and treatments. Unfortunately, they all succumbed to their cancer but I was able to help them stay home rather than going to a facility prior to them passing. My 84 year old mother is also in remission for cancer but currently lives with my sister in MD. I am almost 60 years old. I live alone and I retired from a nearly 20 year career owning a trucking business with my husband. I went through a divorce in 2016 and I live alone and have freedom of my time. I'm looking to fill in about 25 hours a week to offer companionship and basic needs for someone's loved one. Helping people keep their loved ones at home like my family did for our family members is very important to me. I am a Christian. I do not smoke and I love helping others. I'm open to interviewing to get to know me. I love making someone smile and helping them have more good days than bad ones.
