I became a caregiver to be able to help individuals and families to have relief while giving care for their family members needing home care help and companionship. I feel a feeling of satisfaction knowing I have helped make life a bit easier for those assigned to my care.

I'm a fun loving caring lady, who has a sparkling personality to share with anyone. I always get along with everyone the client and there family's. If I do come across at the client that reject me, i'm not easily mislead. I try and find out all I can about them and do my best to break the ice (to say). I wanted to be a caregiver to the older generation. I find that they have the best stories and bring more laughter to me. The most important thing I enjoy most is that I get to care for other people going through the different stages of there life's. My personal achievement is that I raised 3 amazing kids after a tragic up bringing we all suffered ( losing there "Dad" at a young age). They all turned out very successful and still climbing the ladder.

I'm originally from Linden, NJ. I grew up in a large household with my parents, my siblings, maternal grandparents, and paternal grandmother. I've always cared for elderly people in my life. Being a caregiver comes naturally to me. I love the fact that seniors always have wisdom to share. Caring for people my grandparents age fortifies my own personal sense of humility and respect for life. I come from a family of caregivers, my mom and all of my sisters including myself have done this line of work at one point or another. I am patient and understanding. Currently a first time mom I've had to major surgeries in the last two months so currently I am not able to lift heavy. But once I'm cleared and healed I'll be able to go back to regular duties.
