Im a grate care giver because I dont see a client I see another person in need of my help, never late never call off and always learning with 20+ years of experience have very good references from my last 2 clients try me you wont be dessapointed.

When I was applying for different kind of jobs (manufacturing, warehouse) where I had more than 15 years experience, I was offer a position as caregiver of a lovely 90 years old lady, we got along since the first moment and became her part time cg. I found out that I have that special touch so much needed when working with elderly. I treat them with respect. I know it must not be easy losing your independence and if at home, seeing "strangers" coming into your house and practically take control over your stuf. That's why I like asking them (when posible) how they like things being done in their house.

I am a very compassionate person. I care for all clients as I would care for a family member. It is very important to me to make sure all clients have the dignity and respect they deserve. Caregiving has made me feel like I have a sense of purpose in this world and it makes me go home everyday feeling like I have accomplished something meaningful. I have been a caregiver since I graduated high school in 2003, and although I have tried working other jobs, caregiving is the only place I have felt fulfilled.

I start caregiving with my grandmother. I take care of her after she passed. I still wanted to help other people. I love helping others I love bringing joy to their faces.

I believe what makes me a great caregiver is that I always go the extra not just one mile but two miles just to make any client happy meaning making sure they're needs are always being met from the smallest task to a task that's challenging for them to do that they used to do. Also, clients have may not someone to talk to and or eat with, etc.. and they just want a companionship, and I can be that companion for them. What I like about being a caregiver is that the clients are sweet, funny, have a sense of humor, the clients families are supportive and helpful, I like building that report with them. A personal achievement I am proud of is when a client request me and misses me when I am not there; this tells me I have built that report and I've made a positive impact on that client.
