Hello! I'm currently a CNA and EMT. The main reason I became a caregiver is because I want to make a difference in someone's life. I also just enjoy working with people and taking care of and assisting those who may have difficulty with certain activities. I have worked in both a facility and home setting, but I enjoy the home setting because I am able to be one on one with my patient to make deeper connections. I pay attention to detail and I'm very patient, I understand that sometimes there may be changes in plans and that things may not always go as planned, but I can adjust to any situation and make decisions that are best for my patient. A personal achievement that I am proud of is that I was able to become certified as a nursing assistant and as a home health aid, while working part time and going to school full time.

With all the knowledge and skills I had acquired and applied in my caregiving job I would say I have a sense of fulfillment in my job as a caregiver. 2.)Why did you become a caregiver? Being a filipina, we have a culture of taking care of our parents in their golden years and even our siblings. This Field is not new to me anymore. And I find this job with prestige and very rewarding when it comes to financial needs. 3.) What you like being a caregiver? As a caregiver,it enhances myself worth . It's very fulfilling whenever I could be of help to the elderlies in taking care of them in their activities of daily living. 4.)Personal Achievement?
