Hello I'm Kenya, I've been a caregiver for 8 years.I started off as a dietary aide and worked my way up, I've worked in facilities and in the home of clients. I love being able to care for and make sure they are comfortable and has a great relationship with me. I've taken my cna and my med tech and plan to further my education in nursing.

Hi! My name is Jeannie and I'm 36yrs old. I've been a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) and Registered Medication Aide (RMA) for 10yrs. I grew up with my grandparents all my life and as they grew older, health problems slowly arose and I started assisting them more and more and fell into a caregiving role at a young age. My grandmother has COPD, HTN, DM, Anxiety, Neuropathy and Arthritis. My grandfather has dementia, vertigo and stage 3 renal failure. I am Now his caretaker at home, he's on hospice. I've worked in home care and assisted living care. I'm a very compassionate, caring person whose always loved helping others and knew this was my calling. I am now also looking into furthering my education and career and signing up for nursing school.

I'm very patient, honest, and hard working. I do care very much about my recipient/patient and get along well with people. I feel like it has been my calling to be a caregiver and help people. I like doing what I can to make people feel better and feel happy :) I have also been helping currently disabled mother since 2011. I'm available 5 days for total of 15 hrs/week, Monday-Fhursday between 9:00 am - 12:00 pm.

I like to help people if I am able. All of my grandparents needed care and that was the beginning for me. I am also mommy to premature twins that needed a great deal of care and assistance, as that role has decreased, my private care can increase. I am vaccinated and ready to help families provide assistance for their loved ones, while making new friends!

Hello my name is Yvonne but everyone calls me Vonnie. I have a very laid back personality, I can get along with anyone. I'm the type of person that I would rather pick out one good thing about a person than to talk about the bad. I love people in general. I am a very hard worker and I'm dependable and stable.

Some of my traits that are defined as being useful are that I am open-minded, caring, driven, understanding, and available to meet all needs of those that need personal one-on-one care. A few things that attracted me to become a caregiver are the smiles that I am able to put upon their faces, gaining the wisdom of the senior community about the choices I make in life, and knowing that I am able to help them stay out of nursing facilities and receive the care they deserve while continuing to reside within their own homes. The one thing I enjoy the most is being able to care for them and provide them an opportunity for a better life. The one personal achievement that I am most proud of is that none of my clients have ever had a fall on my watch. I have been able to keep them protected and away from the harm that falls could cause to them mentally and physically.

Hello. I am the oldest child of 4, I was born into a caregiver role. I originally thought I wanted to be a nurse, however while in nursing school I realized that I would never be able to give my patients the time and attention I felt they deserved. I enjoy helping people. The satisfaction of knowing someone actually cares about their well being and listens to what they have to say means a lot to me. My own personal success story happened while matched with a child who after about a year had a total personality change, became affectionate towards others, no longer was,violent, and began to enjoy activities and the company of others.
