I BECAME A CAREGIVER, PROFESSIONALLY, AFTER TAKING CARE OF BOTH MY PARENTS , MY DEAR SISTER, AND MY HUSBAND, WHO WERE ALL TERMINALLY ILL AND ON HOSPICE FOR MANY MONTHS EACH. EVEN AS A CHILD I TOOK CARE OF ALL MY DOZENS OF COUSINS AS BABIES, EVERY CHANCE I GOT. CARING FOR OTHERS HAS ALWAYS BEEN MY PASSION IN LIFE. I AM COMPASSIONATE AND CARE FOR OTHERS AS I WOULD WANT MY FAMILY MEMBERS TO BE CARED FOR. QUALITY OF LIFE IS SO IMPORTANT. MY COMPASSION FOR MAKING SURE THAT EACH PERSON RECEIVE QUALITY CARE, NO MATTER THE NEED, IS MY HAPPINESS AS A CAREGIVER. AND BY THE WAY, I JUST WANT YOU TO KNOW THAT I LOVE ANIMALS. ALSO, I RESPECT THE FACT THAT SOME FOLKS SMOKE. EVEN THOUGH I HAVE NEVER SMOKED MYSELF, MY COMPASSIONATE NATURE ALLOWS ME TO BE CONSIDERATE AND UNDERSTANDING OF MY PATIENTS WISHES. ONE MORE THING. ...I HAVE A SENSE OF HUMOR, AND A POSITIVE ATTITUDE, WHICH I FEEL, IS ONE OF THE THINGS THAT GETS US THROUGH LIFE OPTIMISTICALLY!! .

I am an outgoing person, I am passionate about many things in life. I became a CNA (certified Nurses Assistant) in 2015 after the passing of my mom in 2011. I truly enjoy taking care of others and helping them out in anyway that I can. I love learning about who my client/patient/resident was before and who they are now. I driven to make sure that I am doing my best and giving my all every single day. Making sure that all needs are met and no task is left undone. I take pride in my work.

I took course on CNA and attained a certificate in Certified Nursing Assistant. Through my practice as a caregiver, I love preparing for their meals and seeing a resident improving from one stage to another and being independent to dependent. I also like my personal accomplishment and very proud of my resourcefulness, flexibility and determination. I enjoyed mostly the routine activities of the daily living and taking residents for recreation centers and to their Primary Care Practitioner. I am proud because of my rewarding experiences in my life even with the difficult residents I came across and being able support them in daily basis regardless of anything.

I like people and have compassion and respect for their feeling. I have a strong desire to comfort and care for others and improve their quality of life. My greatest achievement was successfully raising two children who are now generous, kind adults who are an asset to the community.

I love taking care of people. I was born in American Samoa, learned how to cook at an early age. Love cooking, cleaning, organizing and being around people.
