I BECAME A CAREGIVER, PROFESSIONALLY, AFTER TAKING CARE OF BOTH MY PARENTS , MY DEAR SISTER, AND MY HUSBAND, WHO WERE ALL TERMINALLY ILL AND ON HOSPICE FOR MANY MONTHS EACH. EVEN AS A CHILD I TOOK CARE OF ALL MY DOZENS OF COUSINS AS BABIES, EVERY CHANCE I GOT. CARING FOR OTHERS HAS ALWAYS BEEN MY PASSION IN LIFE. I AM COMPASSIONATE AND CARE FOR OTHERS AS I WOULD WANT MY FAMILY MEMBERS TO BE CARED FOR. QUALITY OF LIFE IS SO IMPORTANT. MY COMPASSION FOR MAKING SURE THAT EACH PERSON RECEIVE QUALITY CARE, NO MATTER THE NEED, IS MY HAPPINESS AS A CAREGIVER. AND BY THE WAY, I JUST WANT YOU TO KNOW THAT I LOVE ANIMALS. ALSO, I RESPECT THE FACT THAT SOME FOLKS SMOKE. EVEN THOUGH I HAVE NEVER SMOKED MYSELF, MY COMPASSIONATE NATURE ALLOWS ME TO BE CONSIDERATE AND UNDERSTANDING OF MY PATIENTS WISHES. ONE MORE THING. ...I HAVE A SENSE OF HUMOR, AND A POSITIVE ATTITUDE, WHICH I FEEL, IS ONE OF THE THINGS THAT GETS US THROUGH LIFE OPTIMISTICALLY!! .

I am an outgoing person, I am passionate about many things in life. I became a CNA (certified Nurses Assistant) in 2015 after the passing of my mom in 2011. I truly enjoy taking care of others and helping them out in anyway that I can. I love learning about who my client/patient/resident was before and who they are now. I driven to make sure that I am doing my best and giving my all every single day. Making sure that all needs are met and no task is left undone. I take pride in my work.

To give yourself, to give your life for other people. I became a caregiver because i wanted a career that had the potential to make a difference in someones life. Being a Caregiver/CNA for 10 years has helped me in so many ways, i have worked in Hospitals, Nursing homes, Private Duty , Hospice care and also with Disabled children. I love what I do. Taking care of people that need my help gives me joy in my heart. I feel it is very important to have someone in you life that truly cares and makes you feel important. The knowledge of CNA and CMA, Over 10 years and the experience ,makes me a great caregiver. My great personalities are am honest, respectful and empathetic. My job and my personality has always been helping people and particularly old and disabled and helpless. I am resident oriented, law abiding caregiver and love serving the resident with all my heart, soul and mind. I am fully dedicated to work and looking forward to dispense my duty with diligence and compassion. I am also very patient, dependable, trustworthy and attentive. The journey of becoming a caregiver began when I was little girl, whereby, I grew up with my mother who was a village traditional caregiver in an African setting. It was through this background that, i began the journey of being a caregiver mentored by my own mother. I took several courses to meet the state requirement of being a qualified Caregiver. I took course on CNA and attained a certificate in Certified Nursing Assistant. Through my practice as a caregiver, I love preparing for their meals and seeing a resident improving from one stage to another and being independent to dependent. I also like my personal accomplishment and very proud of my resourcefulness, flexibility and determination. I enjoyed mostly the routine activities of the daily living and taking residents for recreation centers and to their Primary Care Practitioner. I am proud because of my rewarding experiences in my life even with the difficult residents I came across and being able support them in daily basis regardless of anything.

I enjoying being a care giver to get to know all my resident to learn somethings from them for the life they have been through all their life and that's a experience for me in the futur. To be honesty and respect responsibility and caring always in my heart that's what make me very proud for what I'm doing loving care to all my resident I have been working with.

Care giving is a passion . Because I love taking care of the elderly as though they are family. I have experience with Alzheimer's, dementia patients. .

I became a caregiver I feel that it was my calling in life love to help people feel that they have a reason to live. There are many reasons in life that we run across someone that needs help in or out of their home or were ever It is hard to trust your love one to have someone there to take care of them or understand them I have been there WE all are caregivers though out our life I love my type of work other wise I would of never stayed in this type of job other wise
