I have completed 120 hours of CNA training with Adams University/McDonough Health Careers Institute and 32 hours of clinical at Westbury Nursing Facility in McDonough, GA. I await my state test date for my CNA certification. I'm current on CPR/FA AED, TB, Medical physical, current on local and nationwide back ground check and finger printing and a current valid GA D/L and MVR. I have been working various care giving positions to stay active. I have experience and knowledge working with Hospice, MR/DD adults, Foster Care, Autism, Mentally disadvantaged, Alzheimer, Dementia, seniors, paraplegic-private, quadriplegic-private and etc. I Have achieved independence and do when & what I like to do in life. At the age of 16, I knew I had a passion to care for the elderly. At 19, I organized a youth group and once a week we visited nursing homes. I had a special love and concern even at a young age. Years passed and I found myself a few years ago applying for a position at an assisted living community as an Activity Director. I was hired on the spot and the families and coworkers will vouch for me. I changed so many lives because of my passion . I was determined to make our wonderful senior citizens live again and get excited about life again. It was truly the best experience I've had. I had to resign so I could pursue my calling and career in the Gospel /entertainment industry. I still do this currently, but I do have availability to care for our senior citizens. I absolutely love changing peoples lives/days by simply encouraging and motivating them to live again.
