I am a 21 year old caregiver, I've taken care of my grandmother who has alhiezmers and dementia for over 5 years. I am also a nanny when I have open availability. I believe my personality comes off as sweet, outgoing but can be quiet if preferred, I do love history, and hearing amazing stories people have gone through! I believe being their friend comes first, but also being on top of tasks given to me. I became attracted to caregiving, when my grandmother moved in with me, and it was fun taking care of her, you always learn something new day by day. I enjoy relieving the stresses of loved ones, being able to give people some time to themselves because I personally understand how draining it can be. I am personally proud of my 1 year little boy. I am proud of the strong willed little boy he's becoming. And how gentle and kind he is to every single person he comes across.

What makes me a great caregiver is I am patient & understanding. I also enjoy helping others. I strive to stay organized and on task. My first home health care job was in 2006 seeing a client be able to stay in home and get the one on one care they deserve makes me proud of what I do. I've volunteer at a free clinic when I was 8th grade loved helping those who came in the clinic. I became a caregiver, because I loved helping and they would say am happy one of the pick. Falter, by my client's comments. I take them out with families events, church, am the one who wants them to live life to enjoy what they have. I really enjoy them seeing them happy when I get there. It's such compassion that I have for them and up most respect for the client and elderly.

I have experience in multiple fields of practice in nursing patients of all age groups from baby to geriatric. My roles as nurse, ranged from burn care, orthopedics, recovery/post-op, - day surgery/pre-op. I am able to organize duties and responsibilities reasonably expected into the time frame given. I went into nursing to care and take care of others at a time they needed.

I am a compassionate, caring, reliable, and patient person. I decided I wanted to be a caregiver when I took care of a loved one. Being a caregiver to me, is not a job, and is a rewarding feeling to help others.

Very hard worker , friendly and kind. What attracted me to be a caregiver was wanting to be a nurse had a an elderly lady that I used to take care of and loved it. Unfortunately she passed away but we build a great relationship and still keep in touch with her family. I love getting attach to the people I take care of and love to help them out. My personal achievement that I am most proud of is doing what I can to accomplish my goals and better myself as a person.

I am a mother to 5 adult children. Prior EMT-B for our local community. I've cared for my elderly father (dementia, cancer, COPD, diabeties, transplant) until he passed. I currently help care for my mom (MS, diabeties). I've worked with preschool handicap programs for 3 years. I love to cook, clean, and care for people as it is a part of my nature. I've volunteered time in community outreach programs through a local church. Two of my adult children served in the military, and all have gone on to rewarding careers. I'm looking to continue my passion helping those in my local community!

A friend of mine, his health started to fail. I stepped in to assist him with his Alzheimer's. He was a dear friend. I helped him with his appointments, bills, healthcare, dressing, bathing, Etc. I am glad I could help him and his family. I felt great to have been part of his life.

Being in the medical field for years and also a former medical student, I learned to understand others in difficulty time. I am very caring, friendly and reliable. I enjoy bringing joy and comfort to those in need by helping them accomplish their tasks while they recover from sickness or dealing with illness.
