Hi! I am a young 58 year old woman. I live in Oceanside. At this time in my life I would like to work with people. I want to help people. I want to make a difference in their lives if I can. After spending time with my 94 year old dad, my grandmother, great aunts and even older friends, I realized that this is something that I would enjoy doing. So I registered with CA as an HCA, I passed their live scan background check and have a current TB test. I have a comfortable 2016 Hyundai Sonata, in good running condition and fully insured. I have had a few clients with a few local agencies, and have found what I like doing best is helping those who just need a little help or companionship. I can help you, or your mom or dad as needed, depending on their wants & needs. I specialize in transportation to and from errands & appointments, shopping, banking, light housekeeping, or just conversation, and/or games or even adult coloring! I am positive, upbeat and friendly! If you do not like me, you do not have to hire me. I am available part time only, 2 hour minimum weekdays only. I am very caring and it makes me feel good if I can help others. My rate is very competitive and less than you will pay me if you went through an agency, and I am willing to negotiate. What makes me a grate care giver is I LOVE HELPING OTHERS I ENJOY DOING IT im loving I'm caring i treat everyone like they are my family . what drove me to become a caregiver is my grandfather had Cancer and he had a care giver come to his home. I watched how much my grandfather enjoyed her company and how much he needed her. I was Amazed at what she did for him and how him having her in his life mad him feel better. So i wanted to give that kind of life to another like my grandfather needed.what i enjoy the most about being a caregiver is the smiles and the happieness I give to them and how much they need me there. And they way they know as long as im there they know they are safe and know they will be taken care of. The achievement I'm most proud of is being a caregiver.

I've been caregiving for the last 10 years I love it it's emotionally rewarding to me. I have all my experience in az and have relocated to nc and looking for work.

Being a companion/caregiver is the most rewarding job. My goal in spending time and assisting them to live their daily lives is to enhance and ease their living conditions. My achievement is to assist them in being able to remain in their own homes as long as possible. Make sure they have daily memory stimulation. Continue to keep them active. I have been a caregiver since 1991, and it's something I truly enjoy! I have met so many wonderful people through my caregiving jobs. What I like most is spending quality time with people, listening to their stories and words of wisdom, and the privilege of serving people. I am married, have 3 children, ages 10, 13 and 15.

Personal achievement I am proud of is that I have been with hospice companies for many years, last several years being on the crisis care team. Married with 3 beautiful children. Two of my children are adults and have their own residences. My youngest is 16. I've always have worked around my children's schedule. Im flexible most of the time. And I wouldn't even mind doing private care in my home for those families that are taking care of their parents etc... and just need a break. This is my main goal... but again I am a multi-tasker.

I wouldn't call myself great, but I am a passionate person. I have a genuine love for most people. It's hard for me to meet a stranger and not smile and strike up a conversation. I've always had the need to hang around older people, every since I was 9 yrs old. Being a giver is who I am. I'm not super woman and don't try to be. But I always give my best, and that sometimes is letting someone know that they are loved.

I start being my mother caregiver. From there I work at agency for quite a few years. I start getty refer from my clients. I all took care of patients very well. From personal care to making meals and doctors appointment light house duty. I am a very reasonable person.

Because I am honest and respectful of senior have a great sense of humor I go far and above my call of duty I like doing things with my pts but most of all I enjoy elderly people and kids .I like to see them laugh. I like being a caregiver because that my passion and I been doing it for over 25 year.

Hello, I am Debbie Aiken. I am a beautiful, outgoing and blessed mother of four adorable children. The ages are 21, 16, 13 and 10 years old. I am happily married to a wonderful guy by the name of Gérard Aiken. He is a navy veteran. I have been in the medical field for approximately 19yrs. I enjoy what I do and I give my best to what I do. I have mostly work close to geriatrics. I have worked with some mentally ill patients. I am a youth minister in training. I am a great caregiver because I enjoy working with the senior, I have compassion, caring and love caring for the elderly. I became a caregiver because I have a stepfather who was in the war an at times I had to take care of him I loved listening to his stories even if he repeated most of them. I also have a nephew who is autistic an I took care of him most of his life too.

The reason why I became a Caregiver is because I lost my great grandmother to alzheimers while I was in high school in 2001. I have experience with working in a Doctor's Office, Mental Health PET Teams, Elementary Schools, In-Home Care (Companionship to Hospice Care) & Assisted Living Homes.
