My name is Gillian and I have been a caregiver most of my life. Most of my experience is from my work with children as a nanny, but through my work with eldercare I have found that many of the same disciplines are needed for both. Both jobs are very different, but similarly need a great deal of care, compassion, responsibility, attention to detail, punctuality, trust, and more. I been doing HomeCare for 10 years cna for 14 years. I'm a phlebotomist as well. Home is where the heart is when you take your loved one out of the home that's when you lose the person that you have grown to know. My job is to be able to keep you with your loved one that one you have grown to know because home is where the heart is and I'm that person do whatever I can to make sure you be able to live your life knowing that your loved one is being taken care of. I am 39 year old single female from New England. Clean, smoke and drug free. No children or pets. Have education in human services, nutrition and massage therapy. I have worked in nursing homes, hospital, adult day care center and assisted living.

I became a cargiver because as a kid I would take care of my disabled grandfather who have had several strokes. I like being a cargiver because if I'm able to help some one and motivate the person I'm all up to it.i am honest,trust worthy,reliable,respectful ,loyale, hardworking i enjoy watching tv movies etc .and I enjoy doing my job and at my best

1. I love giving care to others that is not able to care for themselves because it could be me and I would want the best care. 2. Seeing the love and gratitude on their faces when they tell me what a great job I'm doing. It means the world to me. 3. When I gave part of my Liver to a total stranger that needed a liver transplant. He and his wife both had cancer and he wanted to get better so he could be there for her. She lived seven months after we had the surgery and he lived for 11 years. I give God all the praise and glory because He use me to make his dream come true. That was truly a blessing from God and my greatest achievement. 4. Number three was something about me.

Love the compaionship of elders. The friendship thats built. Making their life a better one than they had in the past. Im patient,kind,loving,caring,friendly to all. Love to keep company to all ages race and doesnt matter to me at all.

As a Medical Assistant with strong bilingual (Albanian) skills I have enjoyed working with people and helping others. I am a people person and working with others is what makes me happy and I feel I do a good job of making life better for others with my patients and listening skills. I find it rewarding to assist with all types of people, care for mentally impaired, elderly, or emotionally disturbed patients. I have experience in assisting in life skills, observing behavior change, and suicide watch. I am most proud of a moment when I was working with an Autistic 16 year old and was able to get him to eat foods that others were not able to. I was creative and determined that was very rewarding to make me feel that I am capable of truly helping others.

I became a Caregiver because I love to work with and help people. What I like about being a Caregiver is being able to care for someone in need and providing for them. A personal achievement I am proud of as a Caregiver is making personal relationships with my clients. Helping them to be relaxed and put a smile on their face even during hard times. Some things about myself are I was born in Poland. I moved here when I was 22 years old. I can speak English and have 3 kids. I like to read, be outdoors, cook, and spend time with my grandson, and going to the beach or pool with my family. I had a level two Backround Screening done 10/28/2014 and doesn't expire until 10/17/2019. I can show proof of my results at interview.

Everyone loves me, I have a little brother with autism. He shows me that by being patient with him really gets the job done. I've improved on my tone of language and also being patient with him. I've became a caregiver to help all those who needs an extra hand sharing my love with others. When I was younger my great grandmother stated" When you get older you'll be the best nurse there is." I love to see my clients smile, after they doubted theirselves for not doing something right with out any help. Shortly after I departed the U.S. Army I made a career choice and went into the medical field of geriatrics. I was trained for my CNA position and as I was taught to respect the seniors that I serve and take care of them to the best of my ability. I did just that. I developed many lasting relationships with my clients by showing them respect and dignity. I listened to their life experiences and became proficient at providing excellent care.
