I became a caregiver because I love people and want to be able to assist individuals who want to live in their own home. What I like about being a caregiver is that I get to feel satisfied each day that I helped someone be Independant. I am personally proud of my ability to interact and care for those with Alzheimer's disease and other dementias and chronic conditions. I have been caregiving off and on for over 20 years and feel that this is my calling.

Patience and caring for this generation of adults. That they deserve to finish out their life's being treated with respect. I like to think of myself as a friend that comes along to visit with them. Share some time doing things together. That what I like about being a caregiver its not so much a job but coming along side of a friend. Any day that I get ready to leave and go home and there is a smile on their faces, I feel good about myself.

I became a caregiver by accident, someone needed help and I had lost my job with the Birmingham News! But it was Gods plan for me. Becoming a caregiver is one of the best decisions I have ever made. I am afforded the opportunity to serve others and make their life better and in some cases be with them as they complete their journey! I am thorough, disciplined, educated, kind and compassionate!

Since I lost my grandparents and my mother, I've felt a strong courage to continue as a caregiver, which means to give the best love and care for others. I treat them as if they were my own parents. You have to have patience, understanding, respect, love them and most importantly, be Christlike. I have a beautiful family of my own and I promise you, I am the caretaker that would best fit your needs. I'm sorry to say, I'm not available on weekends because I go to church with my family and spent time with them on Saturdays. However, I have great family members who are available to relieve me.

I have worked for many families the past 20 years. I have excellent references. I am a wonderful caregiver with a great deal of compassion. I have an engaging personality with people of all ages. I especially enjoy caring for the elderly and am a wonderful companion with a lot of patience, kindness, and always a smile on my face.

I love taking care of our seniors, love hearing there life story. Why I became a caregiver. My mother was a cancer patient not one but 3x, couldn't afford to hired a caregiver so I decided to learn how to become one. After my mother passed. My neighbor hired me for her mother who suffered from cancer and Alzheimer timers. I work for my neighbor for 10 years. I took a year off, realize, I really enjoy talking and talking care of our seniors. I just recently loss a client 2 month ago 4/2018.

Hello! I'm Danielle and I am 21 years old. I currently reside in the SF Bay Area CA, but will be moving to south Jersey/Philly suburbs in the beginning of July. I will start my BSN nursing program at Thomas Jefferson University in the fall, and I am hoping to help others during my time there. I genuinely love and enjoy helping others, and I currently work as a CNA in a skilled nursing facility with geriatric population. I love it!! The best part about this job is building relationships with the patients and families. As of right now (March 31) I have about 7 months experience. I am patient, kind, compassionate, punctual, and good spirited. My positivity goes a long way in this kind of work. When I was in school for my CNA license, I won MVP for excellent attendance, a positive attitude, my ability to help my fellow students and staying later to practice.

Having had personal experience with caring over a loved one during the last few years of her life, I know the importance of it. I am bilingual and have a very good understanding of the common health issues elderly face.

I would like to briefly explain of who I am and what I like to do during my free time or my hobby. I have worked as a caregiver since 2004. What motivated me to be a caregiver was that my friends has recommended me to join them to take up CNA class together and after having obtained CNA certificated, I also taken CPR. Currently, I am looking for a full time or part time job as a caregiver one on one at home, or at independent living homes. I do not mind small pets. I go above and beyond I made life easy for family my life revolved around patient I was always there I started out working 3 days a week and after a month it went up to 7 days a week I bathed and cook and transfer patient even when patient went in hospital I even when there with her and I bathed her there and did her hygiene and set her meal up.i want aiway try to put a smile n there face.

I am proud of being able to choose my career path and finally branch off to be able to go back to school and finish my career in the nursing field. I became a caregiver because I have compassion and care for the elderly. I was a caregiver for nearly 2 years, then I went back to school and took a course in Medical Front Office Administration, graduated 2013. I have worked the past few years in the Medical Office. At this time I am in need of a part-time job, assisting the elderly, as I have compassion for them, and more experience, since my mom now has Alzheimer's, dementia and congestive heart failure. I have experience with Alzheimer's, dementia, ambulatory, stroke victims, diabetic and other elderly patients. I have excellent interpersonal, communication skills, follow directions, very patient, kind and understanding, great companionship, personable, and devoted. I am not a CNA, my CPR needs to be updated; just let me know if you require my CPR to be updated before I start. I have not and will not pay for a background check until necessary, as I have experienced this site does not have very many people on it, so I need to make sure it's worthwhile.
