I went into Chiropractic because I wanted to share knowledge with people that I had gained over the years pertaining to natural healing. When my father died, and being an only child, I knew my mother would sooner or later need my help. I lived with her in her apartment for 9 years, preparing all the healthy food she preferred. I did the cleaning, the laundry and some of the bathing, driving her to Fresno to medical appointments. I have a friend right now who is becoming disabled. I bring him food, make fresh juices, and will soon take himbto town for cataract surgery.

to help others and keep clients in there home.treat the clients like theybr her own loves ones. being a cargiver is awesome cuz if you can help the client and put a smile on there face u r doing a good job.when u can make the client feel they r still worth something in this life . sit now a nd listen to them take the time to get to know them. 1.started by volunteering at the nursing home and then I have became a caregiver, 2. I enjoyed working with the elderly, it is a satisfying job that gives me a lot of pleasure. 3. As an Licensed Massage Therapist since 2000, I've had the pleasure of working with many Gerontology clients throughout my Massage Therapy career. I am also Certified in Gerontology and Cancer Massage Therapy techniques. Growing up, I was always the caretaker in my family. I became my fathers caretaker for the 2 yrs before he passed away , at the age of 92, in Hospice. We can learn so much from our elderly society. My dad would always tell me," I dont want to be in a nursing home", and I promised him he wouldnt, he was happiest in his own surroundings, who wouldnt be. We can learn so much from our elderly population.

I am a married father of two children 9 and 10. I have worked with people all of my life and am more interested in those relationships than earning a lot of money. I have a BA in Psychology and spent the first five years after college working with disabled kids at the Connecticut Institute for the Blind. I became a homemaker in 2001 .I answered an ad in our local newspaper. I was ccurrently waiting tables at a local hotel .I was looking for a 2nd job at the time.It was then I knew it was my calling in 2003 I was recognized as Homemaker of the year.I continued to work for a non -profit agency until 2005.My husband and I hit a hardship and I was inclined to seek employment at a higher paying job.I worked for Walmart Optical/ Pharmacy for 6 years.Where I was a T3 trainer. ( I trained all new hire's) I left in 2011 and decided to seek my calling and became self -employed working with the elderly.In the last 3 years. I Have worked closely with 3 families. The last one was a couple whom I left in July because my husband was transferred to Amazon, the new facility in Ruskin.I am hoping to find another family/individual to care for.After relocating, I have taken a Certified Nursing Assistant Exam Prep Coarse, which I am scheduled to take the State exam in early October. I am still currently registered through the State of Indiana as a Home Health Aide.But, also completed 75 hours of training here (Florida)to obtain certification for this State.I also have a certificate for medtech. I first began working with the elderly six years ago. I have consistently worked with a core group since then on nutrition and fitness. It is through engaging with this group I realized my passion for encouraging and empowering them through compassion and knowledge. An achievement I am most inspired by is through my work with a Parkinson's client. The scientific chains that bound the minds of many and the body of those it claims were broken and cast off with the encouragement and courage of all involved. She opened my eyes this years to the dangers of stereotyping senior citizens. I am a personal trainer who has found a love for a generation. I am interested in focusing my qualifications more towards senior care.

I would like to think that God lead me to be in this profession. I have a soft heart for the elderly and that I miss my mother that I loss to cancer. Caregiving to the elderly gives me the second chance to payback to the mother I didn't had chance to take care before since I was working overseas. I am very proud to say that with my 4 years working on a home health care, I believe I have reach a point where my resident/client is happy and comfortable with me around. I have become their perfect companion and buddy and that some treats me like a daughter. We shared laughs and respect for each other, making it more easier to give the utmost care for her. I am a Certified Nursing Aide for Both South and North Carolina. I took the course and pass it at York Tech. I had enough clinical experience and training as a student clinician and as a professional. Currently I am a CNA at Novant health Medical Hospital in Uptown Charlotte. I became a caregiver 9 years ago in Tucson, AZ. I loved the field of profession and feel it is my calling. Upon our moving to Naples, FL., I became a CNA (Certified Nursing Assistant). What I love about being a caregiver, is that through my compassion, enthusiasm, and care, I am able to give 100% of my abilities to my patient. The most personal achievement I am very proud of is that I had a client whom I worked with 5 days a week, for over a year and half. She had multiple conditions and we were to have a very close bond to where I knew how she felt just by the sound of her voice. I am a female whom loves to work with people. I became a caregiver when a friend who did caregiving needed someone to cover her shifts. Later some shifts became available so I was happy to continue. I liked being a companion for a very sharp, interesting women. She had so many great life stories. I did light housekeeping, prepared lunch and did things around her house she could no longer do, like cleaning out her closets and going through her piles of mail. We had many wonderful conversations. I also helped care for my mother who had Alzheimer's. I was a hospice volunteer for two years which I found very rewarding. I did Reiki sessions for clients which were profound experiences. A personal achievement I am very proud of is raising my two daughters. They are beautiful, smart and educated. They both married wonderful men who adore them for who they are. I am also the proud grandmother of a sweet boy and girl. They are the joy of my life. I visit them as often as I can. Thank goodness for technology and we facetime call usually once a week. I am semi retired looking for part-time work to supplement my income. I am educated (Master's degree) and worked for a number of years as a computer programmer analyst and then did accounting. I am an avid reader and enjoy all types of music. I love to dance. I am interested in architecture. For my semi-retirement I am investigating more right-brained activities. I was very artistic as a child and want to recapture that. I moved to Tucson AZ in September 2015. I live in the NW section of Tucson (technically Marana) with my husband James.

I enjoy helping the elderly stay in their homes and independent as long as possible. After being there for a while or in one case a week. They know Icare and open up & tell me how they feel. Then together, set up a care plan for them with the Dr, nurse, family member. Since 2002, I have had personal achievements with each of my clients. I find listening to them and asking questions I am able to build that trust they need.I enjoy arts and crafts. I like to crochet blankets / throws.

They have to earn my trust to care for the love one.l have worked with one of the most best families in the world for 9 in half until she passed away. She was my best friend. I have been a caregiver since 1979 and counting.I also listen to my client and the needs of the family.
