My name is Amanda. I'm 44 years old. I Was a former dental assistant. My husband passed away this past year, and I've been at home with my kids since. I am looking for a career that allows me more time to be with my daughter. My son is attending Tarleton this year and moving into dorms. So it'll just be me and my daughter. I currently take care of a hospice patient mon-Fri 8-1230. I am a people person, and love taking care of others. Very outgoing, and compassionate.

I started nursing training in high school under the supervision of a RN. I have worked in the field for many years in many disciplines including acute care, rehabilitation, hospice, case manegement, orthopedic physician offices and direct in home care. Geriatrics is my preferred demographic. I'm very experienced, self directing, honest and trustworthy. When I'm helping someone it really makes me feel good as a person. I have always enjoyed helping others.
