I have being doing caregiving for 14 years. I enjoy my job and I love what I do.

About me: I have a very upbeat, positive happy personality. When I work my main goal is always to please my employer or patient. I feel my job is to satisfy a patients needs and wants, which is what I always aim to do. I am very detailed orientated, when i do anything I strive to perfection, which I typically achieve. I care about helping people which brought me into the dental hygiene field, which I no longer do. I loved the work, the human interaction, conversation and educating my patients. Doing caregiving gives me an opportunity, once again, to do what I love. I get great enjoyment working with people, it fills me with joy if I can make a person happy and comfortable. About my education: my degree in dental hygiene included every core course a nurse has to take for their degree...the only difference is/was the clinical part (treating patients in a hospital setting) and specialty classes. We do our clinical in a dental setting and dental specialty classes.

My ethics are inate. I expect to work with trustworthy, patient and compassionate teammates. . I believe clear communication is key. The prior and dependability are needed to have the best caregiving possible. I know that people like to be understood, as their lives are so everchanging. When a driving privledge is removed and eyesight and mobility declines, I have helped others feel better by giving them enough space be heard and validated. My experience has taught me to take care of my need's and when my needs are met that brings high quality to my work. When it comes to caregiving I have a lot of experience at being patient. I took care of twins. In a 24 hour period, besides the normal daily needs, one was on twelve different medications up to four times a day, two to four breathing treatments, dietary needs via feeding tube . I'm easily adaptable. I have good boundaries. I am flexible, and realize that each person is unique and I love to learn and take care of their needs. It is very rewarding helping those in need, I enjoy to give the best quality care I can give.

I really enjoy helping people. I like working with and getting to know individuals, having that personal connection and knowing I am helping to make someone's life's better. I am honest and great at taking direction. I'm easy-going with a patient and kind manor and usually get along with everyone. I'm proud of the fact that I lovingly cared for my aged mother with dementia, who lived with me for several years before she passed away. Also I cared for my husband with severe chronic lung disease for the last nine years of his life. Both were very close to my heart. Caring for people has always been a big part of my life. Hi. My name is Kathy and I have been in the medical field since 1981. I am a Medical Assistant as well as a Certified Nursing Assistant. I love helping people which is why I entered this field to begin with. Besides helping people, I also love assisting with animals. I worked in the veterinary field for several years working with and treating family pets to large exotic animals. I guess I should just say I love helping whether human or animal. My main focus right now is providing excellent care to people in need. Some of the services I provide include taking of vitals, ADLs, companionship, medication sorting, reminding and administration, light housework, and errand running/transportation. My name is Andrea Sparks and I am a wife and mother of two daughters and one son. Helping others is something that I've always been passionate about. To me it is such a rewarding career being that not only do you get to know your patients well but also get to know their families as well. I have been working as a caregiver for over 15 years now. What made me want to be a CNA/ Caregiver, was when I was 16 my grandfather whom I was very close to had a massive stroke and ended up being paralyzed on the right side, he had to be placed into a LTC center even though we wanted to keep him at home. But it was when I visited him daily that I saw and realized what being a caregiver actually entailed. They were so good to him, and in turn he not only thought the World of them, but we all did to. This helped me to realize what I wanted to do when I grew up.
